Giving to Wakefield

As the Wakefield High School Band Program continues to grow, the investment of our alumni, friends and supporters in the community becomes even more important to run a successful Band Program. This will take strong support from you and others who understand that the Wakefield High School Bands is not totally funded by the Wake County Public School System.

Indeed, every band member is required to pay their "Fair Share" each semester in order to participate in the program.  The members and their families have many opportunties to participate in fundraisers during the year and contribute many hours toward our annual Marching Band Contest, where we raise most of our money to offset the student out of pocket expenses.

Wakefield band students exemplify the values of leadership and responsibility desired by in our community and the typical Band student ranks in the top 20% academically. Your support to the Wakefield High School Bands further offsets the cost to each student and allows them to focus on their educational opportunities.

Ways to give:

    • Support your local band member through the many fundraisers that they may bring to you during the year.
    • Support our annual Marching Band Invitational through the purchase of advertising in our Program.
    • Consider a direct donation that indicates your support of our program. 
      

Your gift to the Wakefield High School Band Boosters will be combined with those from other donors to address the most immediate needs of the Band Program.  Your donation will be used to support one of many very essential aspects of our program funding and maintaining scholarship support for band members and instrument purchases.

The Wakefield HS Band Boosters is a qualified 501(c)(3) organization with a 10 year proven track record of supporting the students in the program.  Your tax deductable contribution is very much needed and appreciated.
