To All Winter Percussion Parents:

There will be a MANDATORY parents meeting on Monday, January 11th at 5:30pm after rehearsal for all Wakefield High School Winter Percussion Parents.  This meeting will take place in the band suite.  The purpose of the meeting is to make sure all of our parents understand the Winter Percussion activity as well as their role in this year’s Wakefield group.   We will let you know all of the many ways in which we will need you to get involved in order that your students be as successful as possible.   All students participating in the 2009-2010 Wakefield Winter Percussion Program must have at least one parent or guardian present.   The meeting should only last 30-45 minutes.   In order to best facilitate this, please be sure that you are on time.   Please let me know if you have any questions.

What a great performance the students gave at tonight’s Winter Concert.  If you didn’t get a chance to order a CD of tonight’s performance or a Marching Band DVD, you can still do so.  Just fill out the order form below and return with payment to one of the student treasurers.   

My Fair Lady is a musical based upon George Bernard Shaw's Pygmalion and with book and lyrics by Alan Jay Lerner and music by Frederick Loewe. The story concerns Eliza Doolittle, a Cockney flower girl who takes speech lessons from professor Henry Higgins so that she can pass as a lady. Higgins takes credit for Eliza's success, but she realizes that she can now be independent and does not need him.
