It is time once again for the Hudson Belk Charity Sale.  This is one of my favorite fundraisers.  Students/Parents sell tickets for the sale, and the full amount of the ticket ($5.00) goes into the student's fairshare account.  This is a great way to build up thier account for next year.

The sale is set for Saturday May 1st from 6:00-10:00 (yes that's AM).  Customers will need a ticket in order to purchase anything during the sale.  During this sale, Belk offers customers some fabulous bargains.  This year, Belk is also offering a giftcard to the first 100 customers in each store the day of the sale.  Giftcards range in price from $5.00 to $1000.00.  

Here is an outline of the fundraiser:

• Customers purchase shopping tickets for $5.00
• The full $5.00 goes into the student's fairshare account
• Customers will get $5.00 off their first purchase the day of the sale (so their ticket is actually free)
• If they are one of the first customers there the day of the sale they are guarenteed at least a $5.00 gift certificate (so they would be getting paid to shop).
