Wakefield Maroon Guard - The Wakefield Maroon Winter Guard will be performing a show titled "The Story of My Life" and featuring music from the soundtrack to the motion pictures "The Village" and "Batman Begins". Utilizing selections from her book by the same title, we will tell the story of the life of Helen Keller. Throughout the performance the audience will go on a journey through the emotions that Helen wrote about, from fear and anger, to frustrations with trying to learn from Ms. Sullivan to the exhiliration of theconnection between the feeling of the touch of water and understanding how to communicate that word. Each member of the guard will sign the last portion of the narration.

Wakefield Silver Guard - The Wakefield Silver Winter Guard will be performing a show titled "Four Variations on Twinkle, Twinkle" and featuring music by the same title. The show will be designed in a manner to help these beginner and younger students to progress and become more familiar with this activity. Using a beautifully designed floor and exquisite costuming the program is designed to allow the performers to begin demonstrating different emotions while connecting with the audience thorugh dance and spinning.

Wakefield Middle School Guard - The Wakefield Middle School Winter Guard will be performing a show titled "Sun Shiny Day" and featuring music by the same title. The purpose of this ensemble will be to teach fundamental skills of spinning and dance to this group of beginners and to emphasize the fun that can be gained from the activity.

Wakefield Percussion - The Wakefield Winter Percussion will perform "Mercury Rising" by Nathan Daughtery. The group will be working with instructor Eric Crowin in an environment designed to allow these students to further their musical development and percussion skills.
