The
2002 Wakefield High School Marching Band will present a production
centered around the importance of the concept of time and how it has
evolved from the beginning of time. During early civilization the only
change of time that was important was major changes, such as the
seasons. However, as civilization has evolved so has its reliance of
accurate definitions and measurements of time. We now see ourselves in
an age where time and its measurements are specific to the minute
detail. The music we are using is an original composition by Michael
Siler and scored by Barbara Siler. A newspaper article with the same
name inspired the piece.
